Aims and Objectives of UGDP Project

Goal:


The overall objective of the project is to provide more and improved services to the people by increasing the capacity of the Upazila Parishad by allocating additional development for the concerned stakeholders and creating opportunities for continuous skill enhancing activities.


 


Objectives:


          Provide competency based allocation (PBA) to UGDP for effective government service delivery and infrastructure development.


          To assist in the development of mutual accountability and effective coordination between LGI and the concerned departments (NBDs) at both the Upazila and Union level.


          To take other steps of good governance including increasing transparency of LGI and NBD to the local people through Union Development and Coordination Council (UDCC).


          Strengthening the efficiency and collaboration strategies of government officials at both LGI and NBD levels.


          Assist in establishing proper decentralization process through continuous management system and financial development programs.
